The Consultant will direct and tasks and/or a series of smaller projects, ensuring that all projects are conducted with sound methods and techniques. Successful candidates will have research experience in the specific content area as well as experience in business development, grant or proposal writing, and program evaluation. Primary Responsibilities: Day-to-day management of research and consulting-related tasks Advanced quantitative and/or qualitative analysis Delivery of high-quality client and firm presentations, reports, and project deliverables Participation in business development Managing time effectively across multiple projects, with several managers and competing priorities Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required with 4+ years of post-graduate professional experience or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of post-graduate related experience or a Ph.D. with 0-1 year of post-graduate experience 2+ years of work experience in health care consulting or health policy research, analysis and/or evaluation 1+ years of client/project management experience including managing to deadlines/deliverables and working with clients directly Knowledge of any of the following areas: policy analysis, program evaluation, program integrity, informatics, strategic planning and process improvement Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience with large healthcare data sets (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid and/or claims) Experience in specific subject matter/programs such as: CPC+, BPCI, MIPS and/or MACRA Careers with Optum.
