The Cancer Screening Navigator/Health Educator is responsible for coordinating and implementing Community Outreach and Engagement activities and conducting Community-Facing Navigation for the Duke Cancer Institute [DCI] through the Office of Health Equity [OHE] by providing resources to community members and patients that seek cancer education, screening, diagnosis and treatment.

Education/Training

Work requires a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, or a related allied health field.

Experience

Two years of experience working in a related field. A master’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.
